Cornmeal Porridge Recipe
Ingredients for making cornmeal porridge:
4 cups of milk (960 milliliters)
6 tablespoons of cornmeal
4 tablespoons of sugar
1 cinnamon stick (optional)
cinnamon powder
How to make cornmeal porridge:
To prepare the cornmeal porridge, start by placing the sugar, milk, cornmeal and, if you like, the cinnamon stick in a pan, which will accentuate the flavor of this spice.
Bring to medium heat and stir until boiling. At this point the porridge will start to thicken, so turn the heat down and cook for another 15 minutes.
If the cornmeal porridge is too thick for your taste, add a little more milk. Otherwise add cornmeal.
Remove the cinnamon stick, distribute it over the plates and sprinkle powdered cinnamon. Enjoy it still hot, and bon appetit!
